The Government
Benefits Unit provides legal representation of claimants in:

- Social Security in the areas of Disability, Retirement,
and Survivor’s Benefits;
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI);
- CalWORKs (Welfare);
- Food Stamps;
- General Relief;
- Medi-Cal; and,
- In-Home Supportive Services.

The Unit most often represents blind,
elderly or disabled clients in their claims for disability benefits
under the Social Security Act. We provide representation at
every level of the appeals process including appeals council
reviews and district court appeals. We offer representation
at administrative hearings. |
