Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice’s annual awards gala is the organization’s largest fundraiser bringing together over 500 community members – including leaders from the legal, nonprofit, corporate, and entertainment sectors.

Each year, we celebrate the efforts of those working to promote the safety and stability of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in low-income communities.

On May 20th, 2021, LACLJ held its first ever virtual gala “Celebrating Survivors.” The event featured special guests Beth Broderick, DB Sweeney and Noah Wyle. Attendees also heard from two incredible survivors, Brenda and Sindy, who shared their stories and the impact of LACLJ’s mission. LACLJ also recognized its 2021 honorees The Honorable Thomas Trent Lewis (Justice Award) and Wilkinson Stekloff (Pro Bono Partner of the Year).

Thanks to our generous supporters, LACLJ was able to raise $250,000 to provide free legal representation to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
