Throughout the month of October, we invite you to share the message of our mission in honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
In LA County, survivors of domestic violence filed over 21,000 restraining order petitions in the past year. Less than 10% of those victims had legal representation.
A restraining order is one of the first steps to securing a survivor’s safety. In LA County, more women are being killed every year and nearly a third of homicides are by an intimate partner. We must act now to protect survivors and their children.

Our total campaign goal is $75,000, which will allow us to pay for court fees, critical advocacy, and dedicated attorneys to secure justice for survivors.
