Domestic Violence Awareness Month: STOP VIOLENCE Build Safe Communities

Every year during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, advocates, supporters, survivors and community members raise public awareness of domestic violence. Through DVAM, we hope to spread the word that survivors are not alone, resources are available to help, and declare with relentless determination the need to stop violence.

Throughout the month of October, we invite you to share the message of our mission and support survivors in our communities.

In LA County, more women are being killed every year
and nearly a third of homicides are by an intimate partner.

We must act now to protect survivors and their children.

Join us in ensuring survivors have access to life-changing legal representation regardless of their ability to pay.

Together, with your support, we can help survivors access justice, create violence-free homes for children, and build safer communities for all.
